COCHIN CHICKENS

Cochin chicken is one of the largest breed of chicken originating in China. They are large, but quiet chickens requiring a little space. They do not fly and grow slowly. They become fully mature in 1.5 year.

An adult hen weights 3.5-4 kg., a rooster weights 4-5.5 kg. The egg production is about 100-110 brownish eggs weighting 55-56 g. They are good breeding chickens.
