It is one of the oldest breeds of rabbits. Angora rabbits were bred in Turkey.

Angora rabbits are bred for their soft wool.

An Angora rabbit can weight from 2 to 6 kg. The average life expectancy is from 5 to 7 years.

These rabbits require more care than other breeds of rabbits. They need to be combed at least 2 times a week. Angora rabbits are active and playful, so they are often kept as pets.
