THE HARLEQUIN RABBIT (original name Japanese rabbit)

Harlequin rabbits originated in France and came from wild animals (due to mutation of Japanese invention). They were introduced for the first time in 1889.

The average weight is from 3,75 kg to 4,5 kg. This breed is characterized by unique colours and markings. The fur pattern consists of a black and yellow stripes and spots that should be distributed on both sides of the body.
