THE HAVANA RABBIT

This variety has been bred between 19th and early 20th century in Netherlands. The derivation of this variety was to restore the fur of sable.

It is a medium sized breed of rabbits. These rabbits weight from 3,25 kg to 4 kg (minimum weight is 2,25 kg). Havana rabbit is characterized by dark brown fur, muscular body, a short head and a wide forehead.
